Making an
Enquiry
Firstly we suggest you make an enquiry using our Online
Enquiry Form that you will find under BOOK A HOLIDAY
HOME, or you may prefer to phone us here in the Auckland
office on +64 (0) 9 585 2300.
When making an enquiry please let us know your holiday requirements including
your choice of destination, the property ref number(s) if known, your proposed
holiday dates, the number of guests and a $ budget range.
Please Note:
We are here during normal business hours, if phoning but we have an answer phone
system for after hours calls.
Booking a Holiday Home
Once you have decided on a Holiday Home and NZHH have
confirmed the availability, you will need to complete
our Online
Booking Form (
24KB). Print this Booking Form, and fill out including
the mandatory credit card security bond, and fax it
to us (+64 (0)9 585 2303). Alternatively, you can post
it to us together with your cheque for the deposit or
full payment (PO Box 25 344, St Heliers, Auckland 1130,
New Zealand).
Please Note: Full payment is required if the
commencement date of the holiday is less than 30 days away.
Paying for your Holiday Home
You can pay for your Holiday Home by either Cheque, Bank
Cheque, Bank Transfer or by Visa
or Mastercard Card.
To confirm your holiday booking a 25% deposit is required plus the mandatory
bond completed, with the balance due 30 days before the commencement date of
the holiday.
Please Remember: if the holiday is less
than 30 days away, full payment is required to confirm your holiday booking.
Mandatory Credit Card Bond
For all holiday bookings, whether paid by Cheque, Bank Cheque, Bank Transfer
or Credit Card, we still require the Mandatory Credit Card Security Bond details
completed as are detailed on the actual Booking Form. This is to cover any damage
caused to the holiday home or additional expenses incurred for such items as
cleaning, telephone toll charges and breakages.
If you do not have a credit card we would need an alternative bond, which could
either be a cheque or cash deposit. This would be cancelled/refunded 7 days
after completion of your holiday stay. Please note, all additional charges will
incur an additional 5% administration fee (minimum charge of $5).
Linen Surcharge
- Nearly all the holiday homes have pillows, blankets or duvets available
as stated in the Holiday Home Details. This means that you will need to take
your own sheets, pillowcases as well as all towels including tea towels.
- Most of the holiday homes have Linen On Request i.e. sheets and pillowcases
and usually includes towels for in-house use. However this will incur a small
per head charge. Please note, if linen is required this must be requested
at the time of booking your holiday with NZHH.
- Some of the holiday homes have All Linen Supplied i.e. pillows, blankets
or duvets, sheets and pillowcases and usually the towels for in-house use
are all supplied. However this needs to confirmed at the time of booking as
a surcharge may still apply for the washing of the linen following your departure.
Pets on Request
On request, many of the holiday homes will allow a well behaved pet, but this
is at the sole discretion of the owner. If allowed, "a surcharge of $20.00
is normally charged on a per pet per week basis. If you wish to take a pet this
must be requested at the time of booking your holiday with NZHH.
